Actually The Offer Was Taken Off The Table Before The Baldomir Fight. And He Never Wanted To Fight Spinks, He Just Used Spinks For Leverage To Get Baldomir In The Ring And Become The True Ww King. Floyd Is 1 Hell Of Hand Picker If He Is Able To Pick The Lineal Ww Champ Of The Division And Then Defend It Against The P4p #5 Fighter In The World And Challenge And Defeat A Jr Mw Champ Of The World All In The Same Yr. He Is 1 Hell Of A Picker!!!!

ALSO, COTTO PICKED THE GERMAN DUDE, QUINTANA, ZAB, AND MOSLEY. NONE OF THEM WERE CHAMPS WHEN HE FOUGHT THEM. MARAGRITO HAS ONLY FOUGHT 1 ELITE FIGHTER AND JUST RECENTLY ACCOMPLISHED SOMETHING. LAST TIME HE STEPPED UP TO A GREEN BUT TOUGH CHALLENGE HE CAME UP SHORT. i THINK VOTTO AND MARGARITO NEED TO HANDPICK LIKE FLOYD, BECAUSE IF U BE HONEST WITH YOURSELF....FLOYD LOOKS AND WILL LOOK WHOLE LOT BETTER THAN THEM WHEN IT COMES TO RESUME AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS.

Oh Yeah And Why Do People Love Oscar?!!!
Simple- The Only Boxer Ever To Win A Belt In 6 Different Weight Classes.

And He Fought The Best And Never Ducked Anyone Maybe Until Now! He May Have Lost To The Best But Atleast He Fought Them All!
Ok, U Must Be New To Boxing To Say That Floyd Only Fought Fighter S Of Skill At Ww. Do Some Research And Look Up Genaro Hernandez, Jesus Chavez, Diego Corrales, Jose Luis Castillo.

Floyd Didn't Have To Prove Nothing...go Back And Look At The Tapes, He Proved His Greatness A Long Time Ago. Everything Else Is Just Addition. And U Say He Ducked The Same Mosley Who Said He Had A Toothache....wtf R U Talking About??? He Ducked The Same Cotto Who Was Too Green At 140...wtf????

Look to start it off yes floyd should have fought cotto and margarito, etc...

but if he didnt SO WHAT !!!!!!!!!!!

His resume is far supieror to de la hoya's (I dont count de la hoya's losses)

          Floyd:

          1. Beat Genaro hernandez who was a veteran with only 1 loss (to de la hoya)
He's 6' feet floyd's 5'8 who's the bigger man?..... he retired after this.

          2. Beat Diego corrales who was on the p4p list and expected to win
result: 5 knock downs and a stoppage....... oh and he's 5'11 floyds 5'8
I ask a gain who's the bigger man
          3. beat JLC contreversially in their first fight (i thought he won anyway)
like a man he took the rematch and beat JLC very soundly their the same
          size
          4. beat judah who at the time was considered the only person with enough
skill to beat judah after a few rocky rounds he schools judah(one of my
          favorite fighters)
          5. takes the fight with de la hoya who is obviously the bigger man between
the two and wins the fight by SD
          6. Beat ricky hatton who was considered the savior because he beat the
**** out of a washed up castillo.

If you closely at mayweather's opponents they NEVER ARE THE SAME AFTER
HE BEATS THEM THIS IS ALMOST FACT!!!!!!!!!!!!

result: 5 knock downs and a stoppage....... oh and he's 5'11 floyds 5'8
I ask a gain who's the bigger man - cotto fought margo and margo is 5' 11 and cotto 5 7.... and diego aint margarito so hes not the first and wont be the last to fight a bigger man.
            3. beat JLC contreversially in their first fight (i thought he won anyway)
like a man he took the rematch and beat JLC very soundly their the same
size - lost the first one... and redeem himself in the second one..
            4. beat judah who at the time was considered the only person with enough
skill to beat judah after a few rocky rounds he schools judah(one of my
favorite fighters) - he school him.. props for that but judah have some mental problems so.. everyone was expecting him to win.. at least i was..
            5. takes the fight with de la hoya who is obviously the bigger man between
the two and wins the fight by SD - to a past prime dlh... a prime dlh would have beat floyd..imo6. Beat ricky hatton who was considered the savior because he beat the
**** out of a washed up castillo. - HATTON is a bum..

i think floyd is one of the best if not the best more complete athlete of this era.. but to say that his resume.. is far superior to dlh...

            dlh resume > mayweather.

You make a lot of very valid points.....very understandable but arguable!

I mean You say you dont count De La hoyas loses? That is the only thing that makes NO sense! EVERYONE De La Hoya lost to Mayweather NEVER fought and or DUCKED them! His resume is so full of hidden junk that it makes him look very superior!

You say that after everyone he fought they were never the same, this is true... but its not like Mayweather mangled them and their brain was never the same! All of them were on their way out of boxing.....especial Castilo.
Hatton is the only man on his resume that I completely think was skilled, well an old De La Hoya too I guess!

I mean Floyd is a BAD man, but he set up his whole career by dodging the fighters who could anhilate him! Who the hell wants to see that!

I want to see if he can stop mosley or make Cotto look dumb....that what makea legend, not set up fights....but he is skilled!

Putting De La Hoya down because he lost to EVERYONE Mayweather wouldnt face is B.S.!

Oscar took harder fights in his career, though both took hard fights. Oscar would have given Cotto and Marg the fights if he were in Floyd's position
