the mosley and gomez fight put little birdies in his head as to what kinda fighter he is, and the fact is he's not just a boxer, he is a boxer puncher, that focused way to much on the boxing,and considering the fighter that margo is,he needed to somehow take something out of him early[with his best skill body punching],and he didn't.

He did take him serious. Its just that Cotto fights with his head low and Margarito A.K.A Mr. Uppercut, was gonna capitalize on that.

I do agree he was feeling himself way to much!.... but i dont think margo was even thinking about revenge for gomez lmao
