That way Povetkin will be fighting for 3 belts instead of 2 and he could set a moneymaker fight with Krasniqi in Germany while waiting.
I don't agree; there are too many variables for this outcome to occurr. Who's to say that the winner of Valuev-Ruiz will not have to face Chagaev later this year or would be ready to fight Klitschko this fall...

I'd say Povetkin cash in on his title shot right away instead waiting around for things out of his control to occurr....

I can relate because that's kinda how I'm feeling about Pavlik vs. Hopkins.
What a ****in crybaby Tunney is...

i agree.the only type of fighter that can survive wlad are guys with speed or dunkulous power.pove is a very good average fighter.meaning he doesn't do anything exceptional but is a good fighter.

They won't finalize this fight until they watch the Valuev/Ruiz fight. Big KO by one of them = more demand to see the winner fight Klits & Povetkin will be SOL. At this point Vlad can throw a belt in the trash if they want to strip him of it and whip whoever to get it back later.

Povetkin doesnt have much room to be calling shots, but I understand why he wants as much money out of it as possible. Povetkin and his people know there is a good chance he gets KTFO, and this is his only big payday. If he was truly confident he might let a little more money aside for the victory.
Either way, Wlad is gonna beat him down. I look forward to it.

Povetkin has never been hurt, but he came up fighting light punchers.

I don't see this going past the sixth round.
