All Americans are fat,lazy and dumb.I hope you never forget that.
On a positive side just because you misinterprit a song,does not mean you are fat lazy or dumb.People generaly get hooked on the "hook" if you know what I mean.Bruce Springsteen was a smart writer who realized in order to critisize American politics he would have to conceal the true meaning of the song.He used Born in the USA as the pitch but if you listen to the lyrics you understand that he has concerns about how the Vets were treated.I wouldn't call the song Anti-American it is more Anti-government than anything else.He still sees himself as an American who was wrongly treated after his service to the government.
