I know, he's afraid to get a beating from Tony. The last time he went tooth and nail with a very aggressive larger fighter was against Fernando Vargas. Granted he pulled out a great victory in that fight, he did get busted up and it was a pretty brutal fight for him until the 10th round when Vargas' chin finally caved in. At this point in his career, he don't want that type of fight and that's the type of fight Tony will force him to fight. Only thing is Margarito has a chin and will not go away as easy as Vargas. If dlh feels he will go out on top with a win over a ****en paquiao he's got to be full of ****. pacman has had 1 fight against an average opponent at 135. Now he's going from 130 to 147 against a guy that fights at 154?

As a DLH fan I feel like its a slap to my face if he faces Pac. Oscar has fought big guys and KNOWS the power a bigger boxer. This bull**** about being an even fight is ridiculous. Isn't DLH disrespecting Marquez by fighting Pac?Comment

I think the reason he wont fight Tony is because he doesnt want to make another superstar for Arum.

Well I agree with some of the points you made in your post and I highlighted them in red. I disagree with the fact the DLH doesn't have a great resume. He did in fact lose fights to the fighters you mentioned. He also gave us some great exciting fights in his career. I rather be in big fights like that and give a great show and maybe lose then be a Roy Jones or Joe Calzaghe. These fighters who have this name P4P Chamo and you look at there reumses and you see no names and fighters way past their primes. Oscar never ducked anybody. i think he truely had his eye set on Cotto and not fighting a man much bigger then him. Someone with Cotto style and that he felt he could get out of there if he landed a good punch. At his age and stage of his career he is not the fighter he used to be. Margarito has a granite chin and his style is one where Oscar would need some serious wheels and have to be able to box for 12 rounds. I don't think he could do so in my mind. I don't think there are too many fighters smaller then Margarito that could. That is what makes margarito great and the #1 WW in the world right now. I put myself in oscars shoes and like you said he is not a major player right now. the boxing gmae is not about belts anymore it is about $$$$$. he doesn't want to end up punch drunk or with blured vision for 6 months. His best bet is too not fight at all if he feels that way but, he had his eyes set on Money may II and that fell through. then he set his target on a Mexican/PR match up for big money with Cotto and margarito mnkey wrentched that deal. Now he wants to sell a fight and names make fights now a days. Yes, I've also brought this up on a couple of occasions. Marquez is a Golden Boy fighter. Oscar's just stepping in the middle and taking Marquez' shot at Pacquiao at 135. I don't care what anyone says, Pac still has unfinished business with JMM. As JMM's promoter, Oscar should be doing everything in his power to secure that fight for him.
