In the end it has to be Pacquiao... and it was kinda smart to throw out Mora... cuz now there are even ppl who like the Pac fight more then the Mora fight.

Pac will sign it... I mean DLH wants him bad... he even gave him all the things he wanted... 147, gloves... but money what are you dreaming off...

I think thorugh the media and everything (24-7)... this will make a bit more then the Trinidad fight... but I doubt it seriously that it makes anything near the Mayweather fight... the fight had an absolute different story then this one... Floyd was recognized as the most skilled fighter in the game and was brash... so ppl wanted to see DLH beat him up... Floyd brought his fans with him and I think a lot of ''hardcore'' boxing fans also bought it... because they thought Floyd will get pushed a bit... DLH if it ain't was an superstar or hadn't these kind of revenge thing to it (Vargas, Mayorga) brings about 500 buys... because it is against Pac you can say... probably 1 Million... I don't think it will explode... because DLH is not the one who gets bullied or whatever... Manny even though stepping up in weight for the first time at lightweight... against a natural bigger man and it ****** (at least that what I've heard). So Pac brings some fans if he fights good opponents... so I will say 500 buys... so this makes it 1,5 buys... let's say HBO hypes it up (24-7) maybe some 200 buys more... so probably 1,7... it's the most that he can made... and doesn't even have to take risk...

I mean you saw Manny against Diaz... he had to hit him with a lot of shots to knock him finally out and Manny looked tired from the movement he made to avoid the bigger man... so... this is it... DLH will come forward eat some shots... but when he has him against the ropes... Pac is not May and can't defend himself probably... this is going to be ugly and short if DLH doesn't play with him...

      hmmmm

This fight would be so exiting if you think about it. It would get huge popularity. Oscar doesn't deserve to fight Margarito. WTF has Oscar done to even deserve all these shots at the p4p best?. I hope he gets KTFO but it wont happen. THE JUDGES ARE PROBABLY ALREADY PAID OFF. No chance in hell oscars retiring without winning. I hate that cross dressing ***. I actually hope floyd unleashes on his ass.

If Hoya's last fight is against Pac, he's not going to get much of an applause from the boxing fans.

It's a joke of a fight. He's tank compared to Pacquiao.

The Big **** would have to be against Marg.

              Mexicans will be supporting PAC...

See DLH is a *****. He said MArgarito is mexican and he won't fight him. MArgarito is Mexican-American, Mora IS MExican-American. DLH become the Bigest JK in Boxing.

Can't wait for him to go a way... and next year will be a better place for boxing with him. we can have Margarito fighting Williams, Cotto vs Citron. MArgarito vs Berto,..

The 70/30 split is a joke.

Oscar is the promoter. He's going to make money as a promoter also!

That's why Pac wants 40% share on the prize money.

Hoya is banking on his past wins from the 90s. He KO'd a broken Vargas, an easy to hit Mayorga and was lucky to get a SD loss (should have been a UD loss) to Mayweather.

Now he's banking on the most exciting fighter that he can beat.

Okay, ladies, calm down. De La Hoya isn't making this fight for the boxing fans in particular. He's trying to appeal to the casual fans. Pac is a huge international star, as is DLH. Mexicans and Asians will tune in for this fight, given the implications of each fighter. It will draw huge bank, and either cap a brilliant career for De La Hoya, or pass the torch to Pacquaio, so to speak.

The analysts aren't supposed to enjoy this decision. People who don't know the intricacies of the 'sweet science' will eat it up, however, and they vastly outnumber us.

This is an intelligent fight from a business perspective. De La Hoya wants to retire. He's earned it. It's time. Margarito would be a great fight if De La Hoya were still hungry to prove something about himself, but he's way beyond that now.

Oscar De La Hoya is not going to fight Manny Pacquaio.

Oscar De La Hoya is not going to fight Sergio Mora either.

I think it should be obvious to everyone by now that this is all a negotiating tactic. The question is, who is sitting across from Oscar at the negotiating table?

                      I guess three people:

                      Shane Mosley

                      Antonio Margarito

                      Floyd Mayweather Jr.

                      Take your pick.
