I dont think Sam Peter hits that hard

He's got a very good, solid punch, nothing spectacular. Probably roughly equilivent to Tyson (who's punching power was often vastly overrated). The big asset Peter has is that every punch he throws is just as hard as the one before it, and the one that's coming next, so if he connects he's going to do some damage. Even his jab will rattle your teeth. But his actual punch power is nowhere near that of the likes of Shavers, Foreman, or Klitchko (Wladimir, the harder puncher of the two brothers).
He's also a pretty accurate puncher, and doesn't throw a bad combination. And he improves every time I see him fight.
The combination of these things makes him pretty formidable.Comment

Wait wait wait Sam Peter dropped the granite chin Wlad Klitchko? Yeah so we know he must be a hard puncher now. Sam Peter only has power to knockout 3 tier fighters. Peter is slow fat and has no real skill. I guess it is a good thing he came around when the heavyweight division is crap isn't it.Comment

You think Peter is going to KO Vitali Klitchko? The same brother that has never been down, ever, the same guy who's caught monstrous flush powershots from Lewis and Sanders and didn't go down? I'm sorry, kid, you either have the Klitchko brothers confused, or you're off your medication. The only way Peter is going to even manage a knockdown (much less a KO) is if he brings an assault rifle into the ring with him.Comment

peter has power but not enough technique to catch a smart fighter flush. He throws wild punches and in those wild punches theres a lot of power. Peter needs a world class trainer thats it, cause now hes not going anywhere, theres plenty of things he needs to work on.Comment

I agree. It looks like he's still using hanging tractor tires as speed bags.Comment
