Seriously, Oscar is not even a welterweight. He may fight better at welterweight, but it's obvious he doesn't wanna lose any more weight. He would like his next fight to be at light middle, and was willin to shave off the pounds to meet floyd at the same weight, or maybe take on Cotto. Cotto had done farrr more than Margarito and in half the time, and if he was able to beat Margarito as well then it would qualify him for a huge money fight against Oscar. He's done proving that he will fight anybody, he now wants a comfortable big money win to go out on. He's already proved hes more willing to fight anybody than even the almighty Margarito. If Marg really wanted this fight he would have jumped on William's offer or even somehow get to Berto. It'd be hard turning down the nearest undisputed champ.

the difference is mayweather ducked and dodged to keep his perfect record alive so dlh would fight him. margarito fought and beat top fighters to make himself the #1 welterweight and he has EARNED the fight with dlh. he didnt wait around and duck and dodge like a coward. and i didnt hear dlh say he would fight the winner of mayweather-baldomir but he did say he would fight the winner of margarito-cotto. man mayweather had to fake a retirement to get dlh to fight him.

Boxing is a business as well as an attraction. The Oscar vs Floyd match had an incredible build up and had the making of a great fight. You can't sit there and say you weren't anticipating this fight. Though the outcome didn't live up to the hype, that doesn't make Floyd not worthy of fighting Oscar.

Ask youself this question, do you want Margarito to fight Oscar for the money, or simply to beat him up...and truthfully answer that question.
