Im still excited over this great showdown. Anyhow, so we know cotto was hurt physically and mentally, but what about margarito?? Mentally margarito has had to become stronger cuz of this great victory, but did he suffer more physical damage then we think??? Did Cotto soften margo up more then we are led to believe?? Did cotto put the hairline fracture in margos armor?? Please comment your honest opinion or theories!

I don't understand this topic, how could Margarito's armor be cracked? I mean granted Cotto landed some clean hard shots but none of them fazed, or hurt Margarito at all throughout the fight therefore I don't see it will make a difference at this point.

Margarito is only 30 years old and even though he's been fighting since a young pup he's never been in many wars. Tony wasn't even tired before he knocked Cotto out, he was still aware of what his corner were telling him and was nodding and responding properly, while Cotto looked fatigued, beaten and out of energy after the 6th.

Tony's eyes were puffy and swollen as **** after the fight but those were just bruises, he didn't take the beating Cotto did, so I guess to answer your question, no, his "armor" isn't cracked

We will see in his next few fights. It's all speculation at this point. I don't think his armor is cracked though.

We won't know how much damage he suffered until he steps into the ring again, same goes for Cotto.
