Yes he could. There is alot Mayweather is capable of doing that'd put him Top 5 ATG but he no longer is motivated in the sport of boxing. I wouldn't mind seeing him beat Margarito at 147 then go after a MW.

I'd give him a good chance against Pavlik. Watch Taylor vs Pavlik 2 and tell me...Mayweather isn't a better boxer then Taylor

Taylor is not even close to Mayweather in boxing ability. But Pavlik reach and power would be too much for Floyd

I'm not sure if he would win but he has the skills to make the fight competitive, Sturm is the weakest belt holder in the division right now.

Probably but when your the best defensive fighter in BOXING I'd give you a chance against fighters 1-2 divisions higher.

That I why said Sturm and not Pavlik and AA. He could get a UD or a SD. If RJJ could win a HW title I think Mayweather would be able to fight a title in the MW division. It would be a amazing feat undefeated in 6 weight classes.
