Has Mayweather been in any Memorable Toe to toe Battles?

I was just wondering has Floyd Mayweather been in any Toe to toe battles? For him and his fans calling him the best I wonder has he ever been with an opponent that you can truly say he just pounded him away and don't give me Gatti because Gatti has been beaten by other fighters. Thoughts?

No, Mayweather has never been in any toe to toe battles, 'cause he's too good to get caught up in a toe-to-to battle! DLJoto tried, but he couldn't keep Mayweather locked up.

Mayweathers style is the definition of boxing,to hit and not get hit.

How did you leave out Corley? He purposely got hit with shots in that fight because he wanted to brawl, even after Roger told him to stop.

                lol Just like tag...

I'm not sayin he wasn't skilled, or wasn't fast. But it was boring to watch when he went up against brick walls, with his fast baby-fists.

Mayweather VS a Prime Oscar/Mosley is what Mayweather needed in his career. But then again, Mayweather looked completely useless agaisnt Castillo, Mayweather was use to walkin down fighters for the KO but once he ran into a beast, he supposedly hurt his hand and folded performance wise lol.

But a fight with a prime Mosley and Oscar would have been interesting. Instead of callin them out a year or two ago, Mayweather should have called them out back when Oscar and Mosley were hot products on the scene. I mean Oscar and Mosley would have provided the action, while Mayweather would have tried to do what he does to survive. The activity of both Oscar and Mosley would have gavin the fight interest, while Mayweathers style would have given it that "boxing aspect."

I'm not sure if those were toe to toe fights but they were entertaining as were the Corley and Augustus/Burton fights.
