Wanna know why Manny thinks he can get away with a 60-40 split on the revenues?

Its because DLH is in a terrible position right now.

This fight is going to be his last one EVER, so it has to be good.

There are 3 options to choose for opponents.

You have Mora, Antonio and Pac.

DLH is obviosly scared of Tony and has made many excuses as to why he should'nt fihgt Tony. Tony would mean a loss in his final bout in the boxing world.

Mora vs. DLH would dissappoint fans completely and make DLH look like a runner anbd a complete hypocrit to his own words as to why he should'nt face Tony.

Manny would still make De La Hoya look like a runner but not a hypocrit.

Lookling at these 3 choices Manny is the best option and that is why Manny believes that he can keep negotiations going on like this even if he's going to make 5 times more than what he normally makes per fight.

DLH don't care about public opinion. If he did this fight wouldn't have ever got off the ground at all. He looks like a ***** for targeting this fight, and he also looks like a ***** if he don't do it an opts for Mora instead of Tony. He don't give a ****. He's too rich to care what the fans think. That's why he should just stick to runnin GBP and retire already.

Oscar is overplaying his hand with the public. He's not going to do a million buys fighting Mora. He's going to do **** numbers.

Gatti fought Gomez in a half-empty Boardwalk Hall. The public forgets sometimes, and that's good for them.

I concur fully. DLH has no damn options, he knows it and we know it. I will tell you this if Mora loses he is down to Shane and Manny and Shane doesn't even want to fight DLH, he wants Margarito.

I don't think I agree with that assessment my old friend. Oscar sold 330k fighting a TUNEUP against someone NOONE HAD EVER HEARD OF, LITERALLY.

I think it's probably because he knows DLH is in a bad position right now, he has no one else to fight that would bring him as much money.

I know. There's always going to be a time when popularity drops very suddenly though.
