all that posing, and fainting, and jumping, IS THINKING. That is chess match type stuff that only people that have been in the ring understand. Thats mentally competing and trying to impose and or figure out your opponents next move or lure them in. These boxers are extremely talented, the judging and scoring is just bad.

to say they dont think......is completely unfair. The fighters talent is impressive. You cant just lace somebody with a jab, its much easier said than done. Especially them fighters. Fighters at that level arent going to be peppered with a jab. Those are the worlds best competing against each other.

And i've seen some unusually agressive cubans that look outstanding. Cant wait to see these guys as pros... kinda sucks that we have to wait like 3 or 4 years before they start to mean anything
I've been so blown away by these Cubans that I am now cheering for them, since the US is all but done in Beijing.

blaming the scoring is a bull**** cop out.its not like you got a group of refs deciding who they like and who they don't.all of them do the same ****.all of them.

Because Michael Phelps isn't stripped from his coach and forced to live at an Olympics training facility far from home with a coach he doesn't like and people he doesn't know.

Honestly, if anyone thought there was even the slightest chance that we would be able to do anything with this poorly managed and poorly trained olympic team, you are crazy.

You take a fighter away from his trainer, don't let him fight like he likes too, and they are surprised the lose?

This whole year long training camp idea was a piss poor one, and it cost us a crop of talented young Olympic hopefuls. I hope they do not repeat the mistake again.
