RJJ has fought better fighters then Calzaghe before, Joe hasn't

Joe himself will admit that Rjj is the best fighter he has ever faced in his career. You won't catch him make outlandish remarks like Kessler being a tougher opponent then Jones.

Roy on the other hand has faced a handfull of better fighters. Resume and skill wise. Can anybody dispute that a 44-0, P4P # 1 at that time, young Supper-middleweight champion James Toney wasn't a better opponent then a Joe Calzaghe.

We are talking about a 5'9 guy who in the late part of his career has/is been fighting legit heavyweights and been competitive doing it. Can Joe Calzaghe move up to heavyweight and do remotely as good as James Toney did???

Face it Calzaghe fanatics, Joe is a limited one-divisional fighter who spent the vast majority of his career at supper-middleweight NOT because there weren't any big oppritunities at Light-heavy BUT because he knew he would've lost a long time ago had he made the move up.

Only when the time was right, did he move up and take on a inactive 43 year old Ring champion hoping to catch him cold and is doing it again.

BUT LIKE I HAVE SAID, I HAVE FAITH IN JONES TO GET IT TOGETHER ONE LAST TIME AND PULL OFF A BIG VICTORY EVEN AT AGE 40.

Calzaghe has fought many fighters better than todays Roy. Most of his better opponents I would say. Not better than Prime Roy though, no way.

If Calzaghe moved up his career at supermiddleweight would of been wasted. His crown achievment is over twenty defenses of his supermiddleweight belt.Without that his status would be hurt considering he only has four stand out names.{Kessler,Eubank,Hopkins, some would argue Lacy}.He unified all the belts and that is why he is the P4P #2 fighter.

The 43 year old Hopkins is better than what Jones is today.

I hate to say it but Jones is done.

That remains to be determined on Nov, whether a prime Roy would've been needed to take home a victory.

If prime Kesslers and Lacy's can't defeat Joe and a 40 year old Roy does get the W, then my point is proven.

Nobody is betting. I'm just gonna be sitting back, relaxing and watching as RJJ gives his fans more stuff to add to their youtube highlights.
