I want to fly out to new york to watch it, but with uni coming up I might not be able to afford it. A cheap return flight to NY will cost £400, the cheapest tickets will cost £80, a cheap run down hotel for 3 nights will cost another £200. Add another £300 for food and leisure, I'm looking at a £1000 or $2000.

On the other hand, the student loan is there to be spent.

Can anybody recommend a cheaper way to watch the fight live in NY for me?

Your probably better off looking at a seating chart, finding the section with the price range your looking for, and calling them to see what is available there. That's what I've done in the past. Otherwise, the "best available" they give you on the website is usually ****.

You GOTTA go man. They are gonna be doing a 24/7 series on the fight. By the end of the episodes, you are gonna be REDICULOUSLY pumped for the fight.

If the 24/7 does well they might sell out the arena... but i doubt it. My guess is 15k seats tops. Niether Jones nor Calzaghe is very popular on the east coast.
