Outside of the Mexifans I don't see a lot of hating on Paul. Most unbiased fans realize that he has the legitimate claim to being the best WW.

I have no problem with him fighting Margarito again. What I always argue is why he would want to do it so soon. Margarito is unlikely to lose to any other welterweight. They both could beat another bigger name each, and then they both could have bigger paydays for the second fight. It's funny how Mayweather waiting for the fight to get bigger is fine, but when Margarito does it/or has the chance to do that, he's ducking Williams. Talk about double standards. The only difference is, the Williams/Margarito rematch can actually grow. The Cotto/Mayweather match was big when Mayweather turned the idea down.

In terms of the weight thing, the SLIGHT difference would be that I happen to think that Margarito could make 147 on 'day of the weigh in' wiegh ins, much easier than Williams could. Nonetheless, it's not an issue to me. For his career, he might want to move up sooner or later. Health-wise and longevity wise. But, it's his choice and money is at 147. That's all well and good. Tommy Hearns had the same situation, it happens.

This thread was not about Mayweather but since you brought him up. Floyd had never lost to anyone unlike Margarito who has already lost to Paul.
