How the **** are you 6'3 tall and fighting at welterweight?

Im a Paul Williams hater. This guy is listed as being 6'1. After looking at many of his stare downs with opponents, let me tell you there is no ****ing way in hell he is 6'1. Hes more like 6'3. My friend is 6'1 and im 5'10. When me and my friend stand next to each other, we have far less height difference than when PW stands next to Marg. And Marg is taller than me. His frame looks horrible in the ring when he fights, he looks like a starved bum that would starve and only eat oatmeal to save enough money so he could look like all his color matching rapper idols. Then he talks about people at welterweight fearing him when he fears moving up where he belongs. At 6'3 he would still be taller than most middle, super middle, light heavy, cruiser, and even heavyweights, imagine that. Oh wait whats that? He was talking about fighting Pavlik? Get back to me when he actually does. Paul Williams is the definition of ****.

But I do kinda agree with you still. It seems ****** that he is a good 4 or 5 inches taller than most other guys in his division, but I guess if he can make the weight then it's not a problem. It does give him a huge reach advantage but his punches would be a lot more powerful if he was fighting at supermiddle, I mean, most heavyweights are around that height. Tyson was 5"10, 215 lbs. It's odd.

Yea they were. I love Corrales, one of the greatest people in the sport. But he moved up where he belonged with Clottey and look what happened to him. C'mon guys, tell me that Corrales and Williams dont look out of place when they are in the ring, they looked like scrawny freaks that knew their only way of winning was to used their figure advantage and even then, they would both end up getting beat. Yes Margo has the frame to fight at jr/middleweight but does he look weird at welterweight? Never, its never been divided by weight. But my point is that it just does not look right. What if a guy that was 6'8 wanted to fight at welterweight and he made 147. Do you have any idea how he would look? And I was also trying to attack his and his fans arguments about how people fear him, well he himself is staying at welter for a reason. Paul doesent bring any casual fans to boxing because looks matter. What if a fat turd in the upper weights had a weigh in and they promoted the pictures from it? Would it get people interested? Plain and simple he looks like trash, like he doesent have enough money to feed himself when Marg looks great at the weigh ins. PW wouldnt attract the casual fans for a mega fight if they didnt know him and saw a picture of how he looks, they would just think he is a crackhead.

I'm glad you posted that pic...It further validates the point I'm stressing! You're saying it doesnt look right but were is this huge height advatage that you claim? Dont get me wrong Williams does stand a little taller than Quintana but that doenst mean anything...Did Williams height help him win the first or second fight??
