Add that to iron composure and the ability to make adjustments when you really need to.

Those are the 3 things that Cotto needed improvements on to beat Margarito.

It's one thing to put on a clinic and display your range when you're beating a much lesser fighter down.

The "acid test" is to be able to do it when you the one under real pressure.

Please tell me a MORE MEANINGFUL fight than Margarito-Williams. #1 vs #2 for the VACANT Ring Belt. At a glamour division. ... are you kidding me?
His style to me is not appealing. He has very little talent in every aspect of boxing but he is a strong fighter with a super strong will and ability to take shots.

Im a fan of skill and athleticism. I like when i see spectacular combos movement in the ring. Because as a former boxer I found it very hard to do what guys like Floyd Cotto Zab and other really skilled fighters do in the ring.

I always see guys like Tony stepping in and out the gym.

Now that the three top WW have lost and PW is the only one to avenge his lost so far and him beating Margarito; yeah I would say he can be called the best as of right now.

Just fight the way Pernell fought Oscar or the way pernell fought Chavez.

Not that Cotto is as talented as Pea. of course not. But the difference in talent is about the same.

Pernell KNEW he wasn't gonna KO JCC. Take that approach.

Watching Olympics...the 800m women have good bodies. Not too muscular like some short sprinters and not anorexic like some distance hoes.
Thats what im sayin Less emphasis on power coz the best u got still aint gonna hurt em, more sharp quick shots.

Look how tiny she is in the middle compared to how thick and wide she come out at the hips and thighs.

That is the definition of killer curves.

This question is to whoever said Margarito kept his hands tucked and gave no openings to body shots from Cotto. What ever happened to creating openings to the body? Why didn't Cotto jab to the body? The jab would be to the pit of the stomach you know right in between Margarito's guard protecting his ribs. Why didn't Cotto punch Margarito's elbows and arms like he claimed he would do to PBF? According to some I thought sometimes its all about just hitting something since he such a power puncher. Would that have paid dividends later on in the fight? Never know because he didn't do the ****. The **** is funny because Cotto said PBF closes his mind when he is pressured. Damn what does he think he did when he was pressured.

Much respect to both fighters though it was a hell of a fight.
