Your thread title says Pac would destroy Mayweather. But yet here you say it would be a close fight? Well, which is it?mayweather better not agree to a 140lb. weight because he,s been at 147 and above for a while now and for him to drop in weight to fight pacman is taking a big chance...i know floyd would potshot pac on the outside but, pacman at 140 compared to floyd 140, i see the edge in sheer power pacman, speed pacman, and stamina pacman...thats a close fight and i don,t care how you slice it...floyd would be fast to but not as fast as pac...floyd would get tested and maybe beat...he,s not getting younger... who you got???
And Floyd took shots from Judah at 147, and DLH at 154. You don't think he could stand up to Manny's power?
At 140, Mayweather tko in 10 rounds.... (And I love Manny).Last edited by Sweet Pea 50; 08-15-2008, 09:27 AM.Comment

well
since floyd,s not coming out of retirement and pacman,s ppv numbers weren,t that high enough , pac couldn,t lure floyd out...he didn,t even want the money oscar throwed at him, so 8 mill maybe 10 mill to fight manny don,t sound right...he won,t be back...Comment

And I think that Mayweather would prolly have the power advantage at 140. It has been taking Pac hundreds of punches to get guys like Diaz and Solis out of there.
Go back and OBJECTIVELY look at Manny's record against top competition at 130+. He has definitely beat those guys....but he goes 11+ rounds with those guys. He isn't blowing them out. For all of the (sometimes exaggerated) raves about his power.
So, the thread started is telling us that Pac goes 12 rounds with a WAY done MAB, and a featherweight in JMM...but he will "destroy" Mayweather at 140?
Uh-huh. OK.Comment

It's definitely questionable if Pacquiao's power would carry up with him to 140, it took a lot of punches to get Diaz at 135 out of there, I was just trying to find something to give to Pacquiao.
