Lol, the more I think about that fight after watching that .GIF, Hopkins claim that he should've won seems more and more feasible. After the fight my initial reaction was that Calzaghe did enough to win it, but if you judge it based on effective punching Hopkins should've taken it. The whole fight was pretty much that .GIF on repeat (except with a connect or two by Joe): Calzaghe slapping away, landing 2 or 3 to Hopkins 1 crisp counter. I don't think Joe landed one solid shot the whole fight.

No he didnt. Not at all. Which is why everyone has mixed feelings on it. He just didnt land anything flush. Just played tag. He touched hop more to win the rounds to overall win the fight by a poor sd. Fair? Yes. SAD? more so.
