I know Pac has fans and I am one of them. Simply looking at it from an economic perspective it is all about value added. Oscar probably adds more than 70% of the value to the fight. IMO Manny should be pretty happy with 30. It will earn him a killing.

PPV history disagrees with you. DLH would easily account for over 70% of the revenue from this fight and is therefore entitled to at least that much in my view. Nothing at all against Manny, its just the way it is.

But then again if history serves me correct Pac has also his history of selling fights bigtime. So DLH may have the bigger end of the stick but it is not by much.

We can argue about numbers which will be complicated and too varied... but the bottomline... asking 60-40 in the face of all the odds Pac will have to surmount is fair.

The 10 percent would prolly amount to 4-6 million dollars and DLH will still get his 25 million dollar payday.

Oscar needs to give him 40, at least! Manny is assuming major risk in the fight. Manny is the P4P number one fighter. Manny brings a HUGE fanbase. Oscar is barely a top twenty P4P fighter at this point in his career and he's losing credibility as we speak.

Filipinos are idiots.

Manny is one of my favourite fighters. I love his energy. But he is making a huge mistake. He has been fighting for 4-5 mil per fight. Here, he has a chance to make 15 mil and he is focusing on percentages.

You can't spend percentages, you spend dollars.

What if mayweather had gotten caught up in splits and percentages? he would not have made thirty million bucks. Floyd made all types of concessions to get Oscar in the ring: weight, gloves, ring size, location, date, whatever. And that Oscar fight gave FMJ the exposure to make a second future big fight.

If Oscar is really a fool then he can refuse and fight Margarito. Then Margarito can proceed to give him an ass whooping so bad he'll retire on a wheelchair.

Hell, I wouldn't have an argument if Pacquiao asked for 60/40... this really should be an execution for all the disadvantages that Pacquiao has coming into this fight.

I'm not saying it will be, after seeing how good Pacquiao has gotten, but...

On paper, this should be a public execution, and Pacquaio deserves to be well-compensated for it.
