Jones V Tarver 1...Round by round analysis. Tell me your thoughts!!!!

Im going to watch Jones Tarver again for about the 3476 time. Give some of you guys my insight into how I score a fight personally speaking. Round by round, give some reasons y I scored it for whomever etc. Lemme know your thoughts on my scoring, also lemme know your thoughts about the fight itself....



PS This fight will be scored on mute by me as well. As I will normally do after watching it live and watching it a few times over and over again.

Round 1 goes by with about 2 or so mins with no action. A few rights to the body from Jones, nothing else landing. Tarver hits Jones with his first solid left with about 45 secs to go. Jones is pressured into the ropes where he looks lost. Antonio lands a few solid combinations closing out the road with a nice flurry. Tarver round!

keep your eye out for how inactive Tarver is in he mid rounds and how Jones wins the last 3 rounds

Are you watching a HBO version? I've never seen that copy, I only have the BBC version. And they thought Tarver was robbed, they were very vocal about it.

Really good round for Antonio Tarver. He controlled the action throughout, again pressing Jones up against the ropes and delivering hard left hands that found a home through Jones guard. Jr looks lackadaysical against the ropes, allowing Tarver to through flurries and land. Round ends with more of the same, Tarver landing a few solid shots while Jones is pinned against the ropes.

yeah, tarver wins the last 30 seconds of the opening rounds, doing just enough to secure them. i heard 1 judge scored this round for Jones?

it was clear 7 rounds to 5 for Jones

By about 2 rounds Tarver's work drops off in the middle rounds and Jones diggs deep in the Championship rounds to win
