talk about the fight itself, not just one fighter.

Yes, Cotto was the superior fight IMO but Margaritos will and ability to take a punch finally did him in

Hagler-Hearns. Tremendous fight for the first half of the first round. After that, it was all Hagler.

WOW i thought i was the only one who thought it was overrated

the first half of the fight was toe to toe action but not great toe to toe action the knockdown and the comeback was what made it seem so remarkable but for me waay to overrated

                      Hagler-Hearns.

Maybe my opinion would be different if I saw it when it happened. Then again, I saw Ali-Frazier 3, Saad-Lopez 2, Saad-M. Johnson 1, Moore-Durelle 1, etc....all on video knowing the result and thought they were considerably better than Hagler-Hearns.

Hagler-Hearns would be lucky to sc**** my top 30 list.

Gatti-Ward 1 was great but overrated....I prefer Gatti-Robinson 1 as the action was more consistent all the way through.

Tyson-Holyfield I, Gatti-Ward 3, Foreman-Young, Ali-Spinks 1 were all poor choices for Fight of the Year by The Ring.
