An old Oscar is the best fighter in his resume.

How is that possible when he defeated an undefeated, top five pound for pounder when both were in their primes?

Oscar-The guy doesnt throw enough and doesnt use his jab enough to keep Cotto away for 12 rounds.(I still think this would be the closest)

Baldo-too slow on his feet, cotto could box him if he wanted to.

Gatti-Too far gone, he would get KO'd again

          Judah-already seen that

Mitchell-Cotto would tear his body to pieces(Floy KO'd him with a str8 right 2 the body)

Hatton-He gasses and got out toughed and out muscled by Mayweather, Cotto could handle it.

Although I agree with you, I dont fully understand the point of the thread because they couldnt beat Floyd either...

Floyd have fought men who could have beat Cotto P4P.

The De La Hoya that Floyd fought could have beat Cotto @ 154.

De La Hoya of now would be competetive with Cotto @ 154.

            But we've been through this.

It's much clearer to say that Cotto would never go through Floyd's résumé without a L.

And that he will not be a titlist @ more than 3 weights at best.

I am being objective.. I used to think Floyd would pop shot Marg to death..thowing one's and two's and moving out the way..keeping Margarito at bay with his speed.. not anymore...MArgarito is too strong and throws too much...Shoulder rolling doesnt work against Body shots, homay.. Floyd knows this....

Yea that's true I guess, but Oscar would Knock Hatton out faster then what mayweather did.

I dont think he faded slowly. I rewatched the Collazo bout and recalled how everyone was saying shane was back afterwards. Collazo didnt throw anything and just let shane hit him. At times shane still looked old when throwing his punches. I dont see how anyone could count the Vargas wins as anything constructive. Those were more or less stay busy fights. Vargas has been done for a long time.
