Vazquez is the best 122lber out there right now, but Juanma is quick and is a southpaw. Vazquez had trouble with Gonzalez and was KD'd two times by Gonzalez, who was moving up from 118.

Vazquez is a tough SOB, and was able to handle Marquez 2 out of 3 times, but Juanma hits like a brick and might be a bit faster than Marquez (and certainly faster than Gonzalez).

I'd Pick Juanma by KO in the mid/late rounds. I don't think Vazquez would be laid out, but his nose might be broken or he might just loose on cuts / closed eyes.

I say Lopez has a very strong rounds from 3-8, but Vazquez wears him down and scores a late round TKO.

After a couple of those wicked right hooks Vazquez would be taking a nap in the middle of the ring. Lopez KO.

Vazquez, is a great champion, but took too many shots during that trilogy. Juanma is too quick, fresh, young, hunger and skilled for him. He K.O. Vazquez within 6 rds.

Right now if Vazquez isn't too affected by his three brutal fights with Marquez, I'd pick him, he's on a whole different level from the likes of Ponce De Leon, Lopez' win was still impressive though, I'd like to see him fight someone like Caballero first.

Lopez has proved he too is on another level to the likes of De Leon, u cant cant much more conclusive than a 1st round KO

That's why I want him to fight a guy like Caballero first, Caballero IMO is maybe a step below Vazquez and Marquez so if he beats a guy like Caballero I would be convinced that he is ready for Vazquez.

His win was very impressive considering it was his first title shot and De Leon was a step up in competition to the guys he was fighting before but I never rated De Leon too highly.
