    linares is not duran.

besides duran was able to go to middleweight in his later years.

He's barely gotten any work done right now, should we wait till he accomplishes something substantial to compare him to Duran?

lightweight is so strong at the moment it'd be a bad move for him 'til he's a bit more experienced

            don't get defensive.

it's just not easy to move up in weight.

how many are successful doing it?

people don't even think pacquiao could make it at 135 before and he was coming from 130 at the time.

***** Please! Ivan Calderon would move up to 160 and beat Pavlik. Also Valuez can move down to 135 and beat Pacman. Believe that!!

Also the reason Duran (and Shane Mosley) skipped the 140 lb weight class is because they were having so much trouble making 135, they figured that they wouldn't be at 140 long enough to make it worthwhile. Plus they both had super targets (Leonard, De La Hoya) in front of them to motivate the jump.
