Then why the hell is everybody acting like Pwill is the best. Dude lost to Quintana and didnt beat anyone significant to obtain best welterweight. I know he beat Margo but the tide was turning rapidly Margo just ran out of time. For people to say He is the best WW right now is pretty much saying Cotto and Marg aint **** compared to him. I am a Cotto fan but by my logic P Williams is the best welter in the world right now.

He has beaten everyone he has ever fought and that includes Margarito, If there is a rematch and Margarito beats Williams i will happily say that Margarito is the best out there.

If say Cotto fought and beat Williams i would say it was a three way tie between them as no one of the three has superior dominace over the other two.

Can you argue with that point?

I feel pw and marg are tied for first right now like 1a and 1b. but the only reason is because marg beat the number 1 cotto. pw has a win hanging over margaritos head. but if he faught williams and beat him and hadn't faught cotto yet cotto would be 1

In order for me to consider either one the best I will have to see a rematch..I cant just pretend Pwill didnt lose to Q. Even though he did beat him in the rematch..He still lost...In my opinion you dont lose to Q the way that he did and expect to be the best.. I have margo 1 notch better than Pwill right now..Because he did beat Cotto. Ill just have to wait for the rematch...

I can understand PW lost to Quintana does not help his case for being the #1 WW but he did win the rematch in a very convincing fashion. You also can not PRETEND that Margarito did not lose to PW. In my opinion the WW division is unsettled until both fighters step into the ring with each other. But there is no way margarito should be considered the #1 WW until that happens.
