Do you still get in the ring at Wild Card and box? I spar all the time. Freddie Roach [the gym's owner] has what he calls smokers. They’re like amateur bouts. I pretty much fight guys who are trying to make it in boxing.

Are you any good? I’ve fought in six smokers and haven’t lost yet.

Is that good for your face? The headgear they have these days really protects your nose. You can still get knocked out and lumped up. You just don’t get disfigured.

Ever spar with a pro? I’ve sparred with [Oscar] De La Hoya, James Toney, Shane Mosley. Oscar is a friend of mine. He wrote the foreword to my book, Mario Lopez’s Knockout Fitness.
