If Toney comes in good shape it could be real close, he will more than likely come in out of shape though.
LOL in all David haye fights it has only ever had to go to the score cards once out of 22 fights.

I think it's a fight worth seeing. It would be a good test for Haye against a against a skilled veteran like Toney.

James Toney however ain't the fighter he once was and i reckon with Haye's speed 'n' power, that he could be the man to put a KO on Toney?

The build-up and the press conferences would make good viewing seeing hows these two don't mind saying what they think.

If Haye knocks out Toney will Toney be instantly described as "overrated" or will he be "shot"?

''Haye knocked out a natural MW'' is bound to be used.

Id start Haye favourite over most Heavys but with the very real chance of him getting knocked out, however i see no way how Toney can beat him!
Haye to get the Win but i wouldnt be surprised if he became the first to stop Ol' JT who is one of my All Time favourites

You never know what to expect from Toney. If I had to bet, I'd pick Haye. But I certainly wouldn't count Toney out, which is why I want this to happen.

C'mon squeal, Toney is a very old man who lost a shutout to Sam Peter nearly two years ago. You can't pretend beating him would mean Haye's legit at HW. It would only be a nice exercise for him.

Have to agree Toney is nearly done. Still a solid win tho coz even now James is as good as most of these bums

It depends who you mean by "these bums." There are about ten HWs who would go in as betting favorites over Haye, so I hope you're not referring to them.

Haye's not going to fight a big Russian. He'll pick an old American name, preferably one without power. Toney fits that bill perfectly, with the bonus that he could give Haye an education without hurting him.
