a side from boxing fans, Margarito is an unknown, even by Mexicans. He fought in Carson, alot of Mexican fans are going to show up and throw their support regardless of who he is.

Seen him fight plenty and even bought his PPv when he fought ******* Gomez, but aside from hardcore fans, he does have a lot of bandwagon fans who had no idea who he beat or who he really was.

Thats the biggest pile of **** i've read today!

I went to the first Israel Vasquez v. Rafael Margarito fight and there was nothing close to a sell out. And Frankie can back me up in this. The 3rd fight was a sellout.

the Margarito v. Williams fight was a sell out.

          Margarito is a known, somebody!!!

He carries himself with true champion confidence. Margarito is kind of a **** and is talkin mad ****. You should hear all the spanish interviews.
Cotto was babied and payed good for his fights. Against a hungry fighter that hasn't seen the paydays Cotto has. Cotto already said he'd beat Cintron and some other **** so stop the hate Margarito is the man.

As of the Cotto fight , he is now known. How many PPv's buys for the ******* Gomez fight? I say anywhere near the 50 to 75k mark. Not a sign of being known or having real and true fans.

              thanks for the compliment.

Then why don't Oscar want to fight him. Styles make fights and all indications lead me to believe that Margarito ****ed up Oscar in sparring.

Thats nice and all, but what does it have to do with anything I said in response to

Margarito has a lot of bandwagon fans, but the moment he loses they will all be gone.
                    ??

                    Nothing really.

He already has lost and since that particular loss, hes gained even more fans.

I can back you up on that as I was there too. It wasn't even half full. The side that the cameras were on was practically empty.
