Have you guys caught on to what Im seeing? Its too funny. 1st I will talk about the Pac situation. I think Pac thinks that he has the leverage on Oscar because he's the only realistic fight out there for Oscar considering that Oscar seems not to want to fight the big boys at this point of his career. This situation is reminding me of the Floyd-Winky & Williams-Pavlik situation. I remember Floyd getting ripped on here for the Winky negotiations which I thought was so wrong. Everyone hated Floyd so much that they thought it was his fault or that he was faking about the fight because he asked for more then a 50/50 split. Why split 50/50 when Winky is the much bigger man, was also a top 3 fighter in the world at that time, and Floyd was the bigger draw. Why would Floyd do something dumb like that? I think thats what ended the Pavlik-Williams fight. Not that it was 50/50 but obviously Williams wasnt getting what he thought he should get for fighting a big monster like Pavlik and now the same is happening in this bout. Pac knows Oscar is the big money man and he would get paid but it still isnt worth the risk if Oscar isnt going to be reasonable and so far he hasnt been. I love the fact that Oscar acts like he's doing Pac a favor by wearing 8 ounce gloves when he's the bigger man anyway.
If this fight doesnt come off the Pac is fine. He may not get that huge Oscar pay day but he still has a ton of big fights to make with guys that he can beat if he's smart and he could still fight Hatton for probably just as much as the Oscar fight and maybe have a better chance of winning. Then where would Oscar go? Maybe Floyd had a plan and its working out. No one would give a damn about seeing Oscar fight Mora so the only guy left is Floyd unless Margarito wants to fight those other guys which he obviously doesnt. Its funny because thats now Floyd, Pac, and Tito who havent given into Oscar's crazy demands. Now let me get to the funny part. I find it funny that alot of people now think that Margarito is back in the mix for a Oscar fight. Do you think Oscar would make a deal with Margarito when he's promoted by Arum who was Pac's promoter? No way. Whats even more funny is that this is the same reason why Arum said that he wont fight Williams. He said that he wouldnt fight Williams because they were shady in the Pavlik negotiaions and backed out on a deal when everyone knew that Williams was the much smaller man. Now Pac is the much smaller guy and everyone thought this deal was done but Arum & Pac are now backing out of the deal but yet watch Arum try to make the Oscar-Margarito fight. How hypocritcial would that be? It would be the ultimate flip flop so Im really looking forward to seeing how he works this because he would look like a punk if he still tried to make a Margarito-Oscar fight but not give Williams a chance for the same exact reasons that he just did to Oscar.
