    Deontay Wilder

I'm not one to proclaim hyperbolic things so I'm not even going to get into that, but man that guy can punch. He KO'd the Chinese guy in a dual meet with China a few months ago and the guy he fought in the first round was getting rocked in the third and fourth rounds.

He's definitely raw, but with the amateur experience he's getting and that power he's definitely better than I expected when I first found out he won the trials last year. I was expecting more out of Mike Hunter, but he didn't qualify. I really hope Deontay makes a run at a medal. He, Andrade, Russell, Williams and Warren are the best prospects on the US team this year. Since we know what happened to Russell and Warren someone else needs to step up and Deontay would be the perfect one to do it.

Wilder won't win a medal, is he wins his next fight he will lose to Clemente Russo is the following round.

Hopefully he goes pro right after the olympics, he is not suited to the amateur game.

If he wins his next fight that gets him into the semis, which would mean he gets at least a bronze.
