The "take-it-or-leave-it" offer that Arum offered was $750,000. Pac has no say, except that he can say that he'll take less and give the excess to Marquez.

Marquez and Berestein were in a fix because there wasn't any suitable fight on the horizon for Marquez, and he HAD to do something or slide into obscurity. I don't know of ONE SINGLE writyer, analyst, expert, or even a casual poster, who didn't say that Berestein and marquez had done the wrong thing by refusing the $750,000. In fact most people blamed Berestein, saying that whilst he was a very good trainer, as a manager and advisor he was lousy. I challenge anyone to dispute this with credible evidence.
