If you were in a fight and you were facing a guy who was a 5 to 1 underdog...and you were getting paid $2.5 million would you throw the fight if someone said they will pay you $3.5 million? totaling your salary to $6 million dollars.

Only an idiot would throw a fight in that situation.

If you're earning 2.5M a fight then its possible you'd earn 3.5 on your next bout. If you lose then your value goes down as well.

I chose no, but if I'd really think about it.. I'd take the 3.5 million BUT still do my best to win the fight, if ever I would win I'll return the money back but if I did lose then I'd earn more by losing clearly.
