    Ali the Miami years

    I just watched this documentery on PBS about Ali during his years in Miami. I found it very interesting and i wondered if anyone else has watched it.

      ? What does Joe Louis ( I am from Detroit so I know a bit about Louis) have to do with a documentery on PBS about Ali?

        Yes, I watched it and it was excellent. They are repeating it (at least where I live) twice during the weekend and it is a can't miss for fans of Ali or boxing history. Not just a rehash of things you've already seen on ESPN Classic. Thanks for bringing this up.

          saw an ad for this in sports illustrated, but i missed it when it was on. i think they said it was going straight to dvd.

          s.i. said it looked at things that are normally overlooked, or completely ignored in most ali documentaries. it got a great review so i'll definitely have to check it out.
