    why was margo fighting southpaw against santo?

    i thought he was orthadox but he stayed in the southpaw stance in that fight

      probably to get closer to Santos because when fighting a southpaw you usally have problems with distance of you punch.

      Some punchs seemed not to be hitting you opponent

      been there done that type of thing.

            Could be because he was frustrated or just wanted to try something different, maybe it was to minimize headbutts because both fights ended by cuts caused by headbutts, only he knows for sure.

              Margarito does what he has to do. That's your answer. And he only switched southpaw in spurts, he fought much of the fight in an orthodox stance.
