I've been lurking on here for awhile and there is a lot of UK/US hate. A lot of it is in jest, but some of it is serious. One of the things I see most is people either attacking or hyping Mikkel Kessler.

My take on the man is quite simple, he may have top 10 P4P talent but he doesn't have the resume to match. When your best wins consist of Mundine and Andrade there is really no basis for people claiming he is Calzaghe's best win or that he belongs in the top 10 P4P.

The only world class fighter pavlik has beaten is taylor and even that is debatable. Kessler has solid wins over Mundine,Beyer,Andrade,Lucas and siaca, yet he is never given any credit for them.

True, there is not a whole lot of difference between Pavlik's and Kessler's resume. I would put a win over Miranda on the same level as Andrade.

But, the difference is that Pavlik has beaten another elite fighter and he has done it twice. Say what you want about Taylor but he is 2-0-1 against Bhop and Winky and that is pretty damn good. Even if you don't agree with the outcomes of those fights I'd think everyone is rational enough to agree a case can be made for Taylor in all 3 fights.

Kessler needs one more big win and I think he'll be in the top 10.
