My dad was a huge fan of boxing his fav fighters were Salvador and Hagler. That's all i heard was about how great Hagler was. My earlier memory was in 1990 i was 6 my dad was a huge Chavez fan at that time. Being just ****en pissed when they gave Chavez the win when Taylor went down with 2 seconds. My fam going crazy and celebrating while my dad saying " ira mijo este no es boxeo esto no es boxeo" my dad was pissed that Taylor got robbed even tough him being a big Chavez fan. After that he was so mad he didn't follow the sport. Till i got big in it. But that memory will always be with me and always makes me love what's great about this sport and it's die hard fans. My dad eventually lost alot of love 4 Chavez and his excuses. But got the love back with fighters like Barrera, morales, Gatti early mayweather, jones and other great fighters. We all remember what got us to love this sport there's nothing like it and we have to pass it on if we already haventComment

I started in boxing back in 95 coz I lived with my uncle and my cousin used to be an amateur boxer so he forced me to train with him. Before that I used to see Leonard, Chavez, Tyson, Duran and Hagler fights. Besides Trinidad is from my town.Comment
