Ruiz Wants No Scorecards, Aims To Knock Valuev Out

Former two-time heavyweight champion John Ruiz is not taking any chances when he challenges Nikolai Valuev for the vacant WBA title on August 30 in Berlin, Germany. Twice Ruiz has traveled to Germany and twice he's been on the losing end of what Ruiz feels were questionable decisions. In 2005, he lost a majority decision to Valuev. There were many who felt that Ruiz was the winner. The following year he dropped a split-decision to Ruslan Chagaev. [details]

Ruiz needs to leave boxing forever. He hasn't had a meaningful win in years.

maybe Ruiz can bear hug Valuev instead of clinching, and suck the air out of Valuev to make them stop the fight

It would be the biggest upset since Douglas - Tyson, maybe even bigger.
