I think australian fans are the worst. They're always putting the fighters of other nations down yet they haven't had a single great fighter in years. And their most recent was russian.

I think everybody is as bad as each other.

Yanks - because they think Pavlik will beat Calzaghe, even though Pavlik has only ever beat a distinctly average Taylor twice. Oh, and also a below average Miranda.

Aussies - because they have never really had a half decent boxer except from Tszyu, and think they are the 101 on boxing.

Mexicans - everybody in Mexico is a warrior and will out-warrior your boxers, because we are warriors, and thats what warriors do. Did I mention they are warriors?

Eastern Europeans - because Wlad is the worlds best boxer and constantly proves it with his boring, lackluster displays.

Brits - because sometimes we over hype Calzaghes record, but this only happens because everybody else ****s on it and tries to deny Calzaghe the right to be called a great boxer, for which he certainly is.

Scandinavians - because if you had to fill out a Scandinavain boxing form, the history section would read...N/A.

This may be the most pathetic thread I have ever seen. You talk about Calzaghe fans 'talking up' Joe as though the notion that Joe Calzaghe is in any way a decent boxer is absurd and that anyone who thinks so is automatically lying, pushing an agenda etc etc.

Now some facts:

Calzaghe is P4P #2 in the world right now.
He has produced two of the most dominant and skilful displays of boxing we've seen in the last few years.
He holds two ring belts.
He's undefeated.

What about this is hard to understand? Calzaghe is a good boxer who has fans, simple as that. In all likelihood he's better than the boxer you are a fan of. I'm sorry that this factual scenario is too much for you bear, really. What a bunch of childish idiots you are.

You're not biased. You like Calzaghe, it's natural that you're going to favor him in topics and comparisons. But, you can still see things with a clear set of eyes.

You, I would presume, think Calzaghe will beat Roy Jones. But, I don't think you'll claim after the fight that Jones was still within his best days or in his prime.

You'll lean towards Calzaghe, you just won't bend over backwards to make an unrealistic claim. From what I've seen, anyway.
