Has Bob Arum's age finally shown?

First he puts Cotto in with Margarito. Lost that gamble. Next he puts in Pavlik against an old yet very cagey and experienced veteran that usually ruins careers. Lastly, he's attempting to put Pacquiao against a giant in a size difference that would look like something out of the heavyweights when they attempt to face Valuev. All highly risky fights and so far he's 0-1 with this. Not to mention as by my signature, these are 3 of the most exciting fighters. You don't want to see any of them end up retired yet or damaged goods. We'll have to see how Cotto rebounds but the other 2 are mostly all that boxing has left in terms of excitement and to draw large crowds. Very big gamble for the Bobfather.

He's just a promoter tryin to make money. Whatever fights he thinks he can get paid on and do his fighters at least some good, he goes for.

Maybe Arum really is a boxing fan and wants to see interesting boxing matchs. Or he just wants to make back the money he's put into his fighter.

Don't be throwing out there, it the truth. Thats exactly whats happening, you think he's gonna be at this til' the age of 100. He reserved Pac for De La Hoya, so he had to do something w/ Cotto, put him in front of Marg (which he owns as well) get Pavlik a BIG opponent before his MW showdown w/ AA. He a true business man who has invested alot in these guys and he's doing one thing and.......................
