LW king Nate Campbell: Give me Pavlik for 10 million $!!

    From Marleys site:

Triple-belted world lightweight king Nate Campbell told ******************.com Radio listeners Monday night that someone needs to call the cops.

“This Oscar-Pacquaio fight is a complete travesty,” Campbell told co-hosts Ricardo Lois and John Chavez. “It should be against the law, really.

Campbell, who said he refuses to look past “good opponent” Joan Guzman and their Sept. 13 Biloxi, Ms., title bout, said that he won’t pay a penny to watch the much bigger De La Hoya manhandle Midget Manny.

“I am not going to pay to see that. Maybe I will watch it on a replay,” Campbell said. “I don’t want to be rude or just salty but…how in the world can you take a blown up 112-pounder like Pacquiao, who got stopped twice at that small size, and blow him up to welterweight? And that is a pay-per-view fight?”

As usual, Lois and Chavez egged the outspoken Campbell with one of the Whacko Twins asking Campbell if he would accept a megabout against undefeated middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik.

“Hey, you know if I was getting $10 million, I would be there,” Campbell said.

“I still don’t understand how Manny goes up to fight Oscar and Bernard Hopkins has to go in with a killer like Pavlik.”

There has been severe criticism about the low-key almost nonexistent promotion of the Campbell-Guzman fight but Campbell said he’s not concerned with that.

“I am a prizefighter, not a promoter so I will leave the promoting to the promoters,” Campbell said. “All I know is I am in a good fight against a good fighter. It’s my job to be a boxer. As I keep on winning, the promotions will get bigger because the fights will be bigger.”

    Nice article.

I wonder if he'd be so vocal if he had lost to Diaz.

      Doubt it,

Guzman will probably beat him. It's a shame, I really like him.

Campbell is ****** cause he got 1 win over an overrated young champ in baby bull and he thinks he is hot ****...joan guzman will bring him back down to earth.

Campbell is one of the most inconsistent fighters around.

I don't know. Guzman doesn't have much power. I really haven't seen enough of him but I think Nate might pull it out! I like him too.

Nate Campbell has no real right to talk **** about someone being knocked out at 112 pounds when he was known for this Bright Move.

              lol

Yeah but Guzman can move and box incredibly well, Unless the weight affects it I don't see Campbell pulling it off TBH

Beating an undefeated champion in his prime isn't cause for celebration? Diaz wasn't overrated until he lost, before that people were saying he was the next Roberto Duran. Funny how one loss to a fighter with more experience affects your public standing.

I always said Diaz was over rated...even before he lost!
I said that dude just smothers you and is a fat lightweight who should be at 130.
He has no power and just wins on sound effects.
Nate campbell pretty much said hte same ****.

But Nate campbell is talking **** like he just blazed 4 legends he is talking real ****y and arrogant like he is the king.

But joan guzman is one of hte slickest boxers around he aint gonna stand their and trade with you like diaz.
