    Roy Jones Jr

I was watching some highlight footage of vintage Roy Jones jr which demonstrates his incredible athletic ability, crazy agility, reflexes, lighting foot and handspeed. What i want to know is what others sports could of RRJ have played professionally had he not been a Boxer? ive heard he is an excellent basketball player, would he have been a gun NFL player with that freakish athleticism, what NFL position would of suited him? a track and field athlete, 100m sprint, long jump, high jump? He has unbelievable athleticism which tells me he could have been a pro in anything.

I think he would have been a pretty good boxer.

    Naw dude, idk...

Probably basketball or something like that, although I'm not sold that he would be able to go pro just on athleticism... you have to have a mind that is well-suited for whatever sport you go pro in, and we'll never know if Roy had that mental framework needed for another sport.

if hes mentally tough enough to suceed in boxing he can suceed in other sports

so i say yes, but he would have to learn techniques too, not just rely on athleticism
