What the **** has someone like Bob Papa done to earn a spot commentating?

I mean, Atlas clearly knows his ****... and he is on ESPN, which isn't even a major boxing hotbed like HBO or Showtime.

      Who is this guy?

"there comes a time in a mans life where he's gotta dig deep down into his heart and find a way out of a tough situation"

on FNF, he always comes out with, "there comes a time in a mans life......." has Atlas actually ever been in these situations he raves on about?

"there comes a time in a mans life, where's he's gotta face adversity, he's gotta rise from the trenches and put a galant effort forward"

Sometimes it amzaes me how much people hate others who have it better. There are some in boxing that don't deserve any of the accolades or power they have received, just as there are some who the sports owes all but yet they are left unappreciated. Jim Lampley is the former, guys like Kenny Weldon the latter, and Teddy Atlas has earned his vaunted post in the sport.

Teddy is a good trainer and knows a lot about boxing but his predictions are horrible. Also he was given a chance to work with Sam Peter but I guess Peter would not leave his home town in order to train and according to Teddy thats the reason he backed out, he believes that a reall fighter needs to train away from everything

he had scoliosis which is why he couldnt fight out of the amatuers. He has trained many champions, and thus, worked his way up the bussiness side of the sport
