                No, definitely not a superfight. A superfight is really something like Tyson - Lewis where the majority of people know the names of both boxers immediately. I doubt many people in the UK and Europe knew Mikkel Kessler's name prior to the fight, let alone the USA.

                It was a big fight for boxing though, since it involved the best two SMWs fighting to unify the titles. Any boxing fan should have been looking forward to it.

                    I disagree. Just because the US didn't know how good the fighters were doesn't disqualify it away from being a superfight.

                    It was two boxers, both undefeated, relatively in their primes, in the same weight class going up against each other. It was a HARDCORE boxing fan's SUPERFIGHT.
