I'm aware that that could be simply because Diaz had never had to deal with blood dripping in his eye and not being able to see. Katsidis punches harder than Nate IMO so that has to be factored in.

Either way, this will be a ****ing barnburner...

I would bet on Diaz but my heart wants Katsidis to win even though I've only seen him fight once.
I'm a bit torn on this one as well. I've been following Diaz longer and I have a lot of respect for what he's been able to accomplish while going to school. I wish he had a bit more power and I'd like to see him drop the baby fat and fight at 130, where I think he could dominate, now that all the big names have moved up. Katsidis has a lot more power and because of that is more exciting to watch, but is less talented overall. Being a fellow Texan puts Diaz over the top for me.

I could live with the 17 weight classes, but for the love of God, I would love to see us go back to ONE belt in each. It's almost impossible for a guy to win all four belts these days and fight the mandatories for each.

I prefer IBO more than like the WBA who is allowing to have 3 world champions in their super flyweight division

IBO has no mandatories and have the best ratings out there. So no fighters frmo timbuktu fighting no names getting a title shot

Let the IBO gain a little more prominence and it'll be doing the same thing the WBA is doing. I'll tell you, Rocchiagiani should have finished off the WBC when he had the chance. Instead he let Sulaiman dig into his Swiss bank account and buy him out.

It does appear that Diaz could lose a few pounds and move down in weight and it is amazing that he's done all this whilst going to college.

This fight will be very entertaining. I think the factor here is that both like to trade fire, Katsidis has more power but Diaz has a better chin. The question is who will last more? Katsidis could knock him out, but I think Diaz has a better stamina and will win by majority decision.

should be great! i got diaz by UD because i just think he's too good all-round for Katsidis. Although to be honest i wouldnt be surprised if Katsidis landed some great shots n knocket out diaz. still i think Diaz will be too much!

well his defense isn't the greatest and vs Diaz it could cause him to get hit way too much, get cut up and lose.

should be a great fight, and im really looking forward to it

credit both men for taking this 1 as both Juan Diaz and Katsidis are coming off of losses in there last fights

a second loss to either man would be pretty bad for how they currently sit at Lightweight.

im going for Katsidis, i think he learned from his loss. Hes probably made minor changes and i see him winning, this fight ends with someone getting KOed.

                      Katsidis KO CryBabybull

Because Diaz had a late night of math homework.
