    Welter Tourney

I propose the following tourney at 147 pounds....

    Miguel Cotto vs Andre Berto

    Paul Williams vs Kermit Cintron

    Joshua Clottey vs Shane Mosley

ANTONIO MARGARITO vs OSCAR DE LA HOYA

I think these are the best fights that can be made at Welter. In you opinion, who wins the above mentioned fights and which winners should face each other?

Of the fights you mention above I would have the winners as being Cotto, Williams, Mosley and Oscar. However I don't think these are the fights that should be made. Margarito will not be the undisputed best welter in the division until he rematches and beats the man that beat him IMO. I think Williams-Margarito should be the priority match-up. Forget Oscar, he only has one left and it will just be a cash-grabbing exercise.

      just my predictions:

      cotto/berto = cotto UD

      williams/cintron = williams UD

      clottey/mosley = mosley UD

marg/delahoya = i dont know. delahoya only has trouble with "Boxer" types, but at this stage of his career, fighting margarito is tough.

        Cool
Berto proves that Cotto is damaged goods and wins by knockout
Cintron upsets Williams to win a decision
Clottey and Mosley is extremely close, I go with a Mosley decision victory in a fight that Clottey should have won.
Margarito makes DLH retire on his stool after 7 rounds.

Wow, man. Some bold predictions there.
I have Cotto UD Berto, Williams UD Cintron, Mosley SD Clottey, Margarito TKO8 Oscar.

            I got:

Cotto by stoppage, Berto is too raw, unseasoned

Cintron by KO in about 4

Clottey by UD, at this stage, he's too big, strong, prime for Shane, it would be like watching Winky vs Shane again.

Oscar by SD over Tony. He uses the same style he used with Fernando Vargas minus the stoppage, cuz of Tony's superior chin.

Then you'd have Oscar vs Clottey and Cotto vs Cintron. Winners - Oscar and Cotto for a grand finale with Oscar coming out on top.

            Retires as an ATG Welter!

Why should Williams fight Cintron? Williams should be fighting Margarito or Berto.

Disagree. I think Oscar takes Margs to school and UDs him.

Sounds good to me. I think Berto would crap his pants if he had to fight Cotto. Also Id like to see an underrated Cintron KO Williams. Clottey I think beats Shane.
