He get 70/30 split plus the promtion of the fight. He gets a much smaller opponent in PACMAN rather then one of the other top WW. He gets the big name in PACMAN the whole of the Phillipines will tune in all of Mexico will tune in and most of the US. It makes perfect business snese for De la Hoya. He takes little risk and stands to make tremendous amount of $$$$. He couldn't have chosen a better opponent forhis farwell match and imagine if Manny makes it competitive????....Lefty
