The man is a myth,people only remember his flashes of greatness,even his speed now dazzles the masses but he is an old man in boxing years.His prime is long gone and his leggs are farther behind him.His new style won't work because he would be a stationary target and with Calzaghe you need good movement to beat him.If Jones plans on countering off the ropes look for a TKO victory for Calzaghe,he will just throw punch after punch and the ref will be forced to stop it.This poll is meaningless because a long time ago Jones would of been a heavy favorite.It amazes me that the poll is this close,maybe more fans are wakeing up to the fact that Roy is shot and ready to retire.

Calzaghe of course. Easy call if you ask me. Jones can't throw combos anymore and lacks the stamina to beat Joe which is the only way to beat him. Pavlik is the only guy he has to worry about cause he doesn't get tired. People need to realize that Roy is not fighting Hanshaw Or Trinidad. I'm sure if Tarver can beat him and if Johnson can beat him then positive Joe can too.Comment

Lets be honest, Your not a jones fan garry D you dont have to pretend, But its going to be a close one.
Calzaghe isnt going to go in there manfreddo style all guns blazing , 100 slaps a second. He knows how dangerous jones is and will probably try box him a little in the first round. calzaghe doesnt unleash his slaps until he is :
a.) taking punches
b.) fighting a bum
We seen this demonstrated in the hopkins fight. Hopkins a much slower mover and puncher then jones at this age. Jones has got a great defence since making a comeback and will be able to brush slaps off no worries. If calzaghe trys to manfreddo him, the referee will not stop the match, because it is being held in New York and is going to be one of the biggest events of the year.
TKO's are fine against bums in your hometown. But with proper referees and good judges it will be different. The only way jones would be in trouble is if calzaghe was jacked on steroids and had powerfull punches.
calzaghe is going to get put on his ass by round 4 then finished in the same round with a TKO stoppage
