I'd like him to still be in the mix, but it's as though he's not gone with all the threads about him. It's unreal, I was expecting it to die down by now, especially with the fight that's just taken place and the fights about to happen. You've got journalists still writing about him. It's bordering on ridiculous imo. Until he states that he is returning, I think Kellerman et al should just let the spectre of PBF die down now -it's all a moot point.

No one could really touch this guy at those weight and he didnt duck many at that weight. Right now with this lay off with the Olympics I am really missing huge prizefights, so I popped in some Ray Lenoard videos. Mayweather could of been just as good as Ray and it just feels like a let down. The guy has so much skill and can be super exciting with his superhuman skills. I will be the first person to admit I miss the guy a little. No, hes not killing boxing with his departure but as boxing fans we are getting ****ed over by Mayweather not being in the ring. Instead of all the hate we spew we should just be greatfull of the mans skills. He was a marvel to watch and I would like to see him come back.
he was also the truth at 140, don't forget. his performance against gatti is arguably the most dominating fight of the last decade or more. not only did he have a killer instinct fighting him, he displayed a skillset that night that only true greats show, from offense to defense, he looked godlike in that fight. i do miss him, and feel he will return to take his top spot back, he's just taking some time off, and is still considered the most gifted fighter today, and p4p, the best fighter in boxing. the top spot is shared by a few fighters today because there is no number one fighter in boxing right now, because floyd is on vacation.

You think so? I thought that would be back initially, but I keep reading on other boxing sites how 'insiders' state that his body is really not in tip top condition at all.

compared to who tho?...floyd not being in tip top condition would probably equal to Cotto's best night or B-Hop's stamina...

Mayweather was the king of boxing. He increased the popularity of boxing with his arrogance and his amazing skills. He talked the talk and walked the walk, 2.4 million PPV when boxing was in a recession is quite amazing. The passion Mayweather brings out of people is amazing haters and fans. Mayweather doesn’t have to prove **** to anyone. Undefeated in 5 weight classes and is a certain HOFer and ATG
